You should expect to encounter Jesus through His Word and His People. Corporate worship is the heart of life at Hinson. We gather to pray the Word, Sing the Word, Preach the Word, and Display the Word through the Lord’s Supper and Baptism. This spiritual feast empowers everything we do during the week. Our greatest prayer for you is that you would come to know Jesus. Though we have all rebelled against God, He sent Jesus, his only son, into our broken world. Because of Jesus' obedient life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, sinners can be forgiven and reconciled to God through faith that turns to Him.

One of the best ways to get to know a church is to get to know its people. Our prayer is that gathering with us will start meaningful relationships that help you follow Jesus. Here are more ways to gather and grow with us.

SUNDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE

Every Sunday evening at 5:00 pm, we gather in our Community Hall to sing, pray, and hear a short devotional from God’s Word. This is a more intimate gathering where you can hear more about the church’s ministry during the week and meet more of our members.

SUNDAY CLASSES

Sunday classes meet at 9:00 am with offerings for adults and children. We typically have an inductive Bible study option and a class focused on an important topic in the Christian life. We aim for these to provide Biblical teaching and engagement between the class and our teachers.

DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship is more than a program or a curriculum. It’s the normal way we live together as a church helping each other follow Jesus. This is lived out in corporate contexts like Women’s Bible study, Youth Group, or Men’s Gatherings and in more personal contexts like small groups or 1:1 meetings. This culture is built on our mutual commitment to do spiritual good for one another.

1. EXPLORE CHRISTIANITY

If you are new to Christianity, we would love to talk to you more about following Jesus and open the Bible together. Ask for a copy of Who Is Jesus? at the door.
