Family life at Hinson
People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Luke 18:15-17
Children MinistrY (nursery to fifth grade)
Our role in Children's Ministry is to support and encourage the ministry of the parents. This happens organically in the church family in a variety of ways. Church members and volunteers caring for children during the regular meetings of the church is only the tip of the iceberg of our children's ministry.
Our prayer is that children would see a vibrant faith in their parents and in the family of the church. We ask the Lord that He would give children in our church the gift of faith that endures to the end and leads to generations of godliness. Here are some of the programs that seek to come alongside parents in a Word centered, positive, and safe way.

Youth Ministry (6th-12th grades)
At Hinson, our youth are a vital part of our church body. We pour into students through discipleship - equipping parents and encouraging the congregation towards the evangelism of our students. To that end, we try to get teenagers together with godly adults in our congregation to model what it looks to live a life centered on the Gospel.
There are weekly opportunities to hear from God's word, focus on building relationships, and participate in topical group discussions. Additional retreats and mission trips allow teens to connect with one another and learn more about God’s plan and love for all nations. Throughout the year we offer various discussions and events for parents as well!
